*** Telework (Within Minnesota or neighboring states) and flexible hours options are available.*** The DHS Central Grants Office (CGO) Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of grant making/grant management for the agency. Technical projects will primarily focus on the Contracts Integration System (CIS), the DHS contracts management system managed and overseen by CGO. The CIS centralizes the lifecycle of the contract management process, assists in compliance with state and federal requirements, establishes streamlined processes, and access to data to support oversight and monitoring functions. This position will lead technical projects related to the CIS to ensure it meets the needs of the agency. This includes developing and managing technical project plans, gathering customer feedback and project requirements, developing technical solutions/improvements, providing technical assistance and training, and documenting technical processes. This position will report to the Quality Manager within the DHS Central Grants Office (CGO) and works closely with CGO team members, software developers, DHS program areas, and contractors. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: • Lead, coordinate, and manage technical projects throughout entire software development life cycle. • Develop and manage project plans and timelines, lead technical team meetings, allocate resources, mitigate risks, and communicate technical changes to stakeholders • Provide technical expertise and assist in designing, developing, and enhancing the CIS and other applications. This includes collecting system/business needs and requirements, developing technical solutions, documenting technical processes, and providing training and technical assistance for the CIS and other applications. • Collaborate cross-functionally with CGO team members and leadership, software developers, DHS program areas and leadership, and contractors to align requirements and prioritization, and successful project execution. This includes coordinating and providing support to the Contracts Integration Change Management and Prioritization Governance Team. • Confirm project outcomes by establishing standards and testing requirements, writing scripts and test cases. • Support operations by resolving technology, systems, and information issues; providing user training. • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
